I am freakin blind!

I think my vision is getting worse....

I mean like really bad....

I try not to drive at night, but when I do I think "This should be illegal [actually I think it is illegal]... I can't read the signs that are 20 feet away"- a big ol' blur!

Please don't report me... I promise I'll stay off the road at night! lol

Anyway, I HAVE to wear contacts or glasses during all waking hours or I can't see anything! So, when firmoo.com asked me to review some glasses I was very excited!

I had never heard of Firmoo, it is really cool. Firmoo.com is a website where you can order prescription glasses and sunglasses (with or without prescription) and the prices aren't crazy! In fact, YOUR FIRST ORDER IS FREE!

Here are the dets:

So check out my new specs:

I look real excited.. right?! The truth is I only wear glasses when my eyes are bugging me (allergies). They make me feel tired.
These are the frames I chose:

Click the picture to go to the site.

These frames are plastic so they are lightweight... Not sure how durable since I don't usually wear for that extended of a period. The only thing I am not really loving is the size... They feel HUGE on my face. Everyone said they looked fine, but I felt like they were too wide for my face. I'll keep wearing them though... they were free!

I also chose a pair of sunglasses. Since I pretty much always wear contacts I didn't get them in my prescription but you can if you like:

Only got my glasses from Firmoo.... Addison's were from the Easter Bunny (a.k.a. Target Dollar bin! lol)

I love big sunglasses, so these are a perfect fit for me!

So, one more thing about firmoo. You can upload your photo and do a virtual "fitting room" with the frames. It doesn't look exact but can give you an idea...

Anyhoo... You can check out Firmoo and get your first pair free. So click the pictures above to get started!

SEE you later... lol...

sorry for the lame joke... ha!

Vistaprint Love!

I get really excited when my groupon app goes off and I see a Vistaprint groupon. It is usually an amazing deal... I got 2 groupons in the past 2 months. $17 each- worth $70 each! Yes... I had some shopping to do!

It was perfect timing because I just ran out of my book labels that I ordered last summer, so was able to order triple the amount... won't be running out anytime soon... I hope!

I also ordered some magnetic business cards to send home for parents to keep my info on the fridge. I took a picture of it but it has all my personal info on it... not quite sure I want to share that with the world...

I also ordered some other business cards...
Check it out...

Parent/Teacher conference cards... Yes, please! These are the perfect size and can be used for anytime of the year!
AR Reading Incentive cards! I love how Vistaprint gives you the option of uploading your own images!
Homework pass cards!
I also got a personalized self-inking stamp:

Love how I can circle or highlight if they need to complete or correct the work thats being sent home instead of having  to write a note each time!

I also got these notecards:

Addison helped me design these. Can you tell she added a tiara to her head? There are lots of options on Vistaprint when making the little characters! Too cute!!

I ordered a few other re-orders but had so much fun making these little items! I can't wait to see another groupon! ha!!

Do you Vistaprint? What do you utilize the most?

I LOVE Joanns!!

Needed to get out of the house today, so I took the kids and ran over to Joann's for a look at the sale items (which were plentiful!). I got a ton of cool stuff...

These are apple chalkboards that can be hung pretty much anywhere. (They can them in a crayon shape too but I only got apples). $2.50 a piece! Too cute!

How about some tongue depressers that have shapes on top?! I got some last year with animal heads and this year they had multi-packs of 16 a bag (only $1 per bag). One pack came with stars, hearts, and balls. The other pack came with butterflies and flowers. Love them! These will be perfect for my new behavior management system that I am borrowing from another blog that I lost. But as soon as I have it ready I will post and hopefully will have found the original author that gave me the idea!!

And who could pass up chalk for $1! A big thing of sidewalk chalk with a couple small pieces too! Since I am going to have a chalkboard this year I had to grab this!

Last, but not least, when I got home I finished my bookcase project and added some chalkboard contact paper to some reading bins. The perfect labeling system!!

As you can probably tell, I am super excited about getting in my new room next week and getting to work!!
